Configuring Required Documents from Candidates
Set up which documents candidates must submit: define document names, instructions, and accepted file formats for onboarding.

Location: Sidebar → Onboarding Suite → Settings (/onboarding-suite/settings)
This is an organization-wide setting. Once configured, it applies to every recruiter's onboarding workflows going forward.
How to configure
- 1Open SettingsGo to Onboarding Suite → Settings. Under "Configure organization-wide onboarding," find the Required documents from candidates panel.
- 2Add a new document requirementIn the "Add checklist entry" section, fill in: Document name (required), e.g. "Government-issued photo ID"; Instructions (optional): guidance shown to the candidate, e.g. "Clear color scan, front and back, under 10 MB"; Allowed file types for upload (required): select one or more of PDF, JPEG/JPG, PNG, or Word (.docx). Candidates can submit any of the selected formats.
- 3Save the entryClick Add to checklist. The entry appears immediately in the Checklist list below. (Tip: press Enter in the Document name field to add quickly without clicking the button.)
- 4Review the checklistEach saved entry shows its name, instructions, and accepted formats as chips. This list is what candidates will see and be required to fulfill during document collection.
- 5Remove or update an entryClick Remove next to any checklist item to delete it. To change a document's name or formats, remove it and re-add it with the updated details.
