Job Description - Senior Systems Engineer Network
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
As a Senior Systems Engineer Network , you will be a specialist in the field of networking. Your primary responsibility will be designing and implementing solutions for both customers and within Econis' own cloud environment. You will independently define concepts and develop cross-technology architectures in collaboration with colleagues from other departments.
Collaborating with the sales team, you will respond to RFPs and create competitive proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualizing and implementing solutions for customer projects and Econis Managed Service Portfolio
- Transitioning projects to the operations organization
- Operating and supporting network solutions (3rd level)
- Actively contributing to solutions in the Econis Service Portfolio
- Providing technical pre-sales support during the sales process
- Automating and orchestrating infrastructure tasks
- Ensuring compliance with security requirements
Competencies:
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in the following products:
- Cisco Data Center Switching (Nexus and ACI)
- Cisco Campus Switching (Catalyst)
- Cisco WAN Routing (ISR, ASR, Catalyst 8k)
- Scripting (JavaScript and/or Python)
- Firewalling know-how
