Job Description: IT Architect

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated IT Architect to join our growing and innovative team. As the IT Architect, you will be responsible for shaping the IT architecture of our company, ensuring its alignment with the strategic objectives of the Group. Reporting directly to the CTO of the Group, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including the CEO, CFO, and Group IT, to implement and optimize IT solutions that strengthen the future viability of the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Group IT to implement and maintain the IT architecture across the company.
  • Develop a clear vision for leveraging technology to enhance the Group's future prospects.
  • Define and implement architectural guidelines for essential technological foundations like cloud, analytics, and AI.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of the existing IT infrastructure, identifying opportunities for continuous development and modernization.
  • Review projects with a focus on system architecture and contribute to the development of new IT solutions.

Your Profile

  • Possess a higher education degree in computer science from a reputable institution (ETH/Uni/FH/HF).
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience as a system engineer in the IT infrastructure field.
  • Proven expertise in building cloud architectures.
  • Exhibit a strong team-player mentality and the ability to work independently and innovatively.
  • Showcase high self-motivation and a willingness to quickly adapt to new concepts and technologies.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of industrial business processes.
  • Show in-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Azure, Active Directory, Group Policies, and Services, as well as network architecture.
  • Additional experience in digital workspace, VMware virtualization & storage, Veeam, and monitoring systems will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is required, and a willingness to learn German is essential.
  • Be open to occasional travel (approximately 5-10% of the time), which will be globally and planned in advance.
