Job Title: Information Security Engineer

Position Summary: As an Information Security Engineer, you will work under the direction of the Information Security Engineer Supervisor to develop security tools and processes, safeguarding client electronic information. This role involves implementing security solutions, conducting audits, and supporting cloud and on-premise technology infrastructure.

Essential Functions:

• Evaluate and utilize security technologies and tools.
• Ensure internal compliance with established information security policies and procedures.
• Research, design, and implement security controls and projects.
• Manage and maintain cloud and on-premise technology infrastructure.
• Provide client consulting and support.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Advanced knowledge of information security and assurance practices.
• Proficiency in technology systems, application design, and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in operating server infrastructure (Windows and Linux) and network design.
• Experience with risk management, data security controls audit, and cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing deadlines and needs.

Qualifications:

• 8 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or relevant experience substitution).
• Preferred professional certifications.
