Job Description: 

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager for our Seasonings/Spices division. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with meat and sausage processors/manufacturers in the region. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of selling seasonings and/or spices to the meat industry and possess a deep understanding of the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
• Identify and prospect potential clients within the meat and sausage processing industry.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
• Understand the unique needs and requirements of clients and recommend suitable seasoning and spice solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any customer issues or concerns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
• Travel within the designated states (MO, NE, IA, KS, KY, TN, WV, or AR) to visit clients and attend industry events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) is mandatory.
• Residency in one of the specified states: MO, NE, IA, KS, KY, TN, WV, or AR.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful experience selling seasonings and/or spices to meat and sausage processors/manufacturers, or selling similar meat ingredients to the meat processing industry.
• Proven sales track record and familiarity with the meat and sausage processing market in the region.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel as needed to maintain client relationships and attend industry events.
