Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Account Manager (entry-level) to join our team at Center Valley, PA. This position involves selling specialty Dairy Ingredients, including Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) and Dairy Proteins, to infant formula and protein drink manufacturers. The ideal candidate should have 0 to 10 years of food ingredient sales experience or 4-10 years of dairy/ingredient R&D experience with a desire to transition into technical sales. This is a great opportunity for someone with a food science degree and technical background looking to enter the sales field. Travel within the US will be required (approximately 30% of the time).
Essential Qualifications:
- Degree in food science or a related field.
- 0 to 10 years of experience in ingredient sales (preferably dairy ingredients or proteins).
- Alternatively, 4-10 years of dairy or ingredient R&D experience with an interest in transitioning to technical sales.
- Willingness to relocate to Center Valley, PA (company will provide relocation assistance if needed).
Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with clients in the infant formula and protein drink manufacturing industry.
- Promote and sell specialty Dairy Ingredients, including WPC and Dairy Proteins.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities.
- Travel within the US to meet with clients and attend industry events.
